All of that make sense?! Probably not.... So in English..... All our O'Neill Technical Ski and Snowboarding wear is at a minumum of 5,000mil waterproof, which means you would have to go about 50meters underwater before any water would start to penatrate through the material. We go go up to 20,000 but in a 5,000 you arent going to get wet! everything is also windproof water proof and breathable. Breathable is just means that when you sweat, and lets face it, it is sweaty work carrying your skis and poles to those lifts, or picking yourself up after your falls, if you fall!,the material allows all the moisture to evapourate through the jacket.
Its really important you have the right layers on under your jacket & pants. Strictly no cotton!! Cotton absorbs sweat and you dont want a wet top on under your Jacket as this leads to you geting cold! 1st layers and micro fleeces are the key as they are breathable and thin, & you dont get so bulked up! Under the pants I always advise some first layers (Technical Thermals to you & me).
Please note that the above couple of paragraphs is my well seasoned advice and not the info that is on the label! All you need to worry about is which looks best!
